Real estate mogul Donald Trump condemned Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling's alleged racist comments on Monday, but suggested Sterling had been "set up" by the "girlfriend from hell."

TMZ released audio that purported to be a conversation between Sterling and his girlfriend V. Stiviano on Friday, in which Sterling told Stiviano that he didn't want her taking photos with black people or bringing blacks -- like NBA legend Magic Johnson -- to basketball games with her. The fallout was swift and widespread: everyone from President Barack Obama to Michael Jordan condemned the remarks and the NAACP revoked Sterling's lifetime achievement award.

"It's terrible. He got set up by a very, very bad girlfriend, let's face it," Trump said on "Fox & Friends."

Hell, Donald and Sterling probably have joked many times together themselves on the topic, using similar language, during golf outings!

Donald Sterling’s wife: ‘I am not a racist’

Rochelle Sterling, the wife of Clippers owner Donald Sterling, has denied that she is a racist while refusing to confirm or deny whether her husband made racist remarks heard on an audio tape that was released Friday.

Although NBA commissioner Adam Silver said that Donald Sterling had agreed not to attend the game after the controversial audio tape became public, Rochelle Sterling sat courtside at the Oracle Arena for Game 4 between the Clippers and Warriors on Sunday.

“I do not condone those statements that you heard,” Sterling’s statement read. “I do not believe in them. I am not a racist. I never have been, I never will be. The team is the most important thing to my family...

“I don’t know (if it was Donald Sterling's voice)... I haven’t listened to the entire thing. I do believe there were some parts that were cut out. I will let the experts handle that. The one thing I want everyone to know: I am not a racist and I do not condone what I heard on that tape.”

You are not a racist, but you've been married to one for fifty years. Though your husband has disgraced you yet again, you're representing him by taking his seat at the games. You're suing your husband's mistress, but you're not suing him for divorce. You want the tape to be authenticated, but you aren't even willing go on record as not believing that your husband would say such things. What's your master plan -- to have him declared incompetent and take over his empire yourself? If so, you're not qualified to call anyone a gold digger!
