Great Picture: Wildlife

Image of the Day: Nothing Here But Us Telegraph Wires

OK, so this photo has nothing to do with climate change (trust us, we tried). But we loved it so much we just had to share. A Little Owl is almost perfectly camouflaged among the ceramic insulators on a telegraph pole in Dobrogea, Romania. Wildlife photographer Mircea Costina only spotted the owl after another bird gave its position away.

Meanwhile, back at the ranch in Dobrogea, Romania, the Lone Ranger, disguising himself as an owlet disguising himself as a ceramic insulator on a telegraph pole, bided his time and waited for bad guys.

(All the words show up, but I don't see the pictures? The bottom one is a raccoon holding a kitten, the gang are raindeer or elk. If anyone knows more about posting pictures here I guess I could forward them via email. PM me.)
The Law Of The Wild says kill ONLY when you are hungry

Photographer Michel Denis-Huot, who captured these amazing pictures on safari in Kenya's Masai Mara in October last year,
Said he was astounded by what he saw:

"These three brothers (cheetahs) have been living together since they left their mother at about 18 months old,' he said.
'On the morning we saw them, they seemed not to be hungry, walking quickly but stopping sometimes to play together.
'At one point, they met a group of impala who ran away. But one youngster was not quick enough and the brothers caught it easily'."

These extraordinary scenes followed..

And then they just walked away without hurting him..........

Life is short... Forgive quickly, love truly, laugh uncontrollably...and never regret anything that made you smile

STREET GANGS IN CALGARY , ALBERTA

It's gangs like these that the people of Calgary have to put up with..

A bit different from the problems in other cities...

It proves that every City has their own "unique" gang problems. They
Roam the streets and yards night and day.

They hang out in even the best neighborhoods!

..and you CANNOT (legally) stop them.

AREN'T THEY MAGNIFICENT !!!!???

"Did you lose a cat?"

This is probably the most amazing picture of 2011!!!

ceramic insulator, on the bottom of the supporting arm, relative to the owl hidden amongst the others. Reality CAN be a reciprocating mirror.
