because of the 911 calls he made while stalking Trayvon so the question that needs to be asked is why Zimmerman did not make the call himself, why did he ask someone else to make the call instead? Odd, imo.

He was deciding on what he should do, and it doesn't seem like the cops were on his immediate list of what to do.
