How many of you would defend your son/daughter to the media with your face hidden?

Yes, aside from "blaming President Obama and the NAACP for the "outrage". The thing that is really un-nerving to me is that How does a Father or Mother defend there child (Which any parent would do. Any parent is going to defend a child who is in the wrong. That is what my parents did I see my sister defend her children--granted it wasn't as serious as this but to others they defended the kids NOW when the kids got home me/they got our asses kicked. But it is understandable) My question is WHY are you hiding your face?!

You are a retired Magistrate/judge whatever it is. WHY are you hiding your face? Is it that when people see his father face they are going to connect him with something else -something high profile? (I won't venture suggestions because I don't people to say I am mudding the water sort of speaking.)

Why does a parent go on TV to defend a child and do it hidden? It would be like Martin Sheen sitting behind a screen as he defends one of his 4 children.

Editing to add: (No offense to Mr. Sheen or his children. I just happen to watch my DVD copies of the West Wing and that's why I kind of use him as an example.)

So what happens if there is a trial? Will none of the family be there? snagglepuss Mar 2012 #6
