Could someone explain the UKIP/Brussels controversy?

I recently read somewhere that if the UK Independent Party sent more than 5 delegates to some meeting in Brussels at the end of May that England was going to rise up against their evil robot overlords?

Or will they?

I don't follow European politics.

What's going on over there?

A loose collection of nuts and little Englanders who claim to want to put the "Great" back in Britain whilst actually wanting to take any greatness out of the Union.

Farrage trades on issuing lies about the EU and the terrible influx of "furriners" that the EU supposedly ships into the wonderful country of England.

Farrage is a dangerous demagogue and would be sent back to the country his ancestors came from if his policies are followed.
