South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley indictment imminent?

Two well-placed legal experts have independently told Palmetto Public Record they expect the U.S. Department of Justice to issue an indictment against South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley on charges of tax fraud as early as this week.

A highly ranked federal official has also privately confirmed rumblings of an investigation and possible indictment of the governor, though the official was not aware of the specific timeframe.

Yesterday, Palmetto Public Record exclusively reported that the Internal Revenue Service has been investigating since March of 2011 the Sikh worship center run by Gov. Haley’s father. At least five lawsuits have been filed against the Sikh Society of South Carolina since 2010, alleging that the group bilked contractors out of nearly $130,000 for the construction of a new temple.

Gov. Haley is reported to have managed the temple’s finances as late as 2003, and our sources believe any indictment would center on what happened to the missing money.

You wouldn't believe all the shit that's come out about her - stuff that was known BEFORE the election!

A case was recently brought by a fellow REPUBLICAN against her with a state ethics board - a board that is well known for its corruption. The case was dismissed, of course. But this respected Republican (he's actually a pretty upstanding guy) said “I believe Governor Haley is the most corrupt person to occupy the Governor’s Mansion since Reconstruction. ... Put it another way: I think she is corrupt to the core of her being.”

Didn't Nicolle Wallace (from the failed McCain campaign) just SING her praises??

Wallace flagged one female official in particular who she thinks would be a good choice this year.

"Nikki Haley — she's great," she aid. "She's the most effective surrogate Romney has."

"Nikki should be picked for a broader purpose, a messaging purpose. Maybe that's just a message person's bias," Wallace said. "But I certainly hope that she's on the list."

She cited other female political figures like Carly Fiorina as potentially good choices for the Romney campaign.

"There are women that are pretty well seasoned in tough business and politics campaigns, and I would hope that some of those women would be on his short list."

Ms. Wallace....you are a fucking idiot that hasn't learned a thing.
