CATO Institute - just a very active club of right wing extremist Ayn Rand fanatics

I read an article written by some CATO Institute "expert" about how awful it is for attorneys to be able to sue on behalf of people, and tort reform must be instituted asap, and I got the distinct impression that perhaps the CATO Institute was anti-lawyer.

So, I went to their website and started looking up the names of their staff/fellows and a list came up of 64. I looked at only 15 then totally gave up because there were so many and I was bored with all the right wingerism. In any case, here's what I found among the 15 I looked at:

K. William Watson - ATTORNEY
Roger Pilon - ATTORNEY
Aaron Ross Powell - ATTORNEY
Nicholas Rosenkranz - ATTORNEY
Ilya Shapiro - ATTORNEY
Jose Piñera - Chile's Secretary of State under bloody DICTATOR Augusto Pinochet
Dalibor Rohac - Economist from a London think tank established by and for the UNITED ARAB EMIRATES
Alan Reynolds - One of the most important Supply-Side economists under RONALD REAGAN
Daniel Pearson - Nominated as Chairman of the U.S. Trade Commission by G.W. BUSH
Randall O'Toole - Wrote a book on why environmental ideas will destroy our cities

The other 5 were like some economist whatevers who worked either for the Manhattan Project or the CATO forever, one had been the head of book publishing for Georgetown University (SCARY), and another publishes in law journals but he doesn't say he has a jurisdoctorate (maybe he does, I don't know).

Where we base all our policy positions on the plots of Green Hornet comics and Bruce Lee movies.

It's trial lawyers that tend to donate to Democrats that are their perceived enemy

Not sure if it was daddy Koch or the sons. Daddy founded the John Birchers.
