Is Dana Milbank an idiot, or just lazy?

Milbank's column in today's Washington Post reads like a Fox "news" piece of garbage. He insists that "White House secrecy" has made the Benghazi situation worse. Milbank fails to appreciate that no matter what the White House and Dems do, the right wing echo chamber just makes shit up and then loudly repeats and repeats it forever. This is true of "Benghazi" and every other phony outrage they manufacture. The GOP are masters of propaganda and nothing the White House and Dems say or do can make the lies apparent to the wingnuts that gobble it all up.

In reading today's column, I decided that Milbank either really believed the crap he was spewing, or was just too lazy to write a more substantial piece about something that actually matters. He's done this on many occasions and it seems to me he's just taking up space, with no convictions, or passions.

If Republicans succeed in turning the Benghazi “scandal” from a nothingburger into a Double Big Mac, the Obama White House can blame its own secrecy and obsessive control over information.

and we know they never cared about the troops, that is obvious, so this is about hating Black prez

Was the ambassador who died an Obama appointee? I cant find the info but assume he was, therefore those who say they care about him actually hated him, they hate anyone and everyone connected to that Black man

7. The ambassador was career civil service and yes, he was appointed by Obama

There is a huge difference between being named ambassador to any of several plum locations - London, Paris, Rome, Tokyo etc and being named in a third world country, especially in one that was in chaos. Stevens was a career diplomat who had various positions under both Democrats and Republicans. I think this was the first time he was appointed as ambassador - ie it was a promotion.

Bingo. It's exactly like the White House's "secrecy" over President Obama's birth certificate.

The GOP saying so, don't necessarily make it so.

6. I wonder why MSNBC has him on so often

He rarely adds anything substantial to a discussion and never seems to state anything with absolute conviction.

As a guest on an MSNBC show, or at his desk at the Washington post, it seems to me he's just taking up space. Surely, both seats can better be filled by a progressive who is more animated and sincere about his/her beliefs.
