......will Mena be re-opened as a topic of discussion?
It was almost blown open in 1995 when The Washington Post was on the eve of publishing a multi-page expose' written by Dr. Roger Morris and Sally Denton, highly credentialed researchers who had unprecedented access to Barry Seals' papers. At the last moment, The Post caved, and the story was quashed.
There is Bush involvement. There is Clinton involvement.
Millions of people were harmed. Untold monies were looted.

(50,130 posts)....that I"m sick of the quashing of true scandals (Mena) in favor of trumped up scandals (Benghazi/Lewinski) by the MSM.
It's a bad idea to allow blackmailable people to ascend to the White House. It's a bad idea to allow those enmeshed in alleged criminality to take the reins of power. The Bush family is a criminal enterprise. The Clinton family has some explaining to do, too.

(36,988 posts)Some of the most astute reporting of the crimes of Mena has been done by historian and investigative journalist Roger Morris. Morris is a former foreign service officer and has also served on Presidents Lyndon Johnsons and Richard Nixons National Security Council senior staff. He resigned, however, over the invasion of Cambodia.
Roger Morris is now a fellow at the Green Institute , a lecturer, and the author of several books, among them, Partners in Power: The Clintons and Their America about Mena; Richard Milhous Nixon: The Rise of an American Politician; and writing with his wife, Sally Denton, The Money and the Power: The Making of Las Vegas and its Hold on America.
Among the many awards hes received is the Bronze Medal for the finest investigative journalism in all media nationwide.
