The V.A. was in shambles during the BushCo administration. This administration came in and put a lot of effort into turning the V.A. around - but the extra burden that two long wars - Iraq and Afghanistan - has put on the system and the fact that Viet Nam baby boomer veterans are creating an extra burden - what do you expect?
