Sanders Statement on FCC: http://www.sanders.senate.gov/newsroom/press-releases/sanders-statement-on-fcc
Comment from Steve Smiley: I just dumped Comcast for 3 reasons. First, they have no fixed price for their service. If you threaten to leave they will lower the price to keep your business. So, they have been cheating me because I hadn't complained before? Second, they have terrible service. They have secretly been throttling bandwidth if you want to stream video which competes from their other revenue stream. Third, shady business practices. I returned my modem to them because it wasn't capable of handling the speed I was paying for. Then they charged me for a year because they talked me into an auto pay. The practice must be so common, they didn't try to argue when I called them to cancel after looking at my bill. Probably no different than most, but now they have effective competition. My new service is comparable foe 1/3 the price. This all goes away when they regulate it as a utility.

OP
Declaring an industry a utility is the flip side of giving corporations patents.

since the Dems will only win if they have someone that appeals to the same indies and R's that Obama originally appealed to, this is the ticket that has to be.
