The president and vice president joined four local construction workers for lunch after days of urging Congress to approve a new plan to authorize major road and bridge projects across the country.

According to The White House Pool report, "POTUS ordered a burger and fries and VPOTUS ordered a cheeseburger, French fries and a black-and-white milkshake."

Mr. Obama said the visit was because Shake Shake had “great burgers and pays its employees more than 10 bucks an hour.” The White House is currently pushing to raise the federal minimum wage to $10.10 an hour.
