(4,835 posts)That lady went on and on about the patriots 'trapped' because it rained on their campground/parade.
It's a shame that the millions of patriots in the campgrounds couldn't build a living bridge. Like ants.

(31,849 posts)that would force President Obama and the House and Senate leadership out of office?

(4,835 posts)I'm sure on nice sunny days in either the early spring or late fall they're a force to be reckoned with.
They probably don't stand up to the heat well either.

(9,462 posts)young and old. This is why we are the party in touch with America. Shall I send a copy of this pic to the GOP and tell them the reason they can't win national elections is because they ignore 20% of these people, insult 25% of these people, make it harder to earn a living for most of them, and don't realize that a good 10-20% of these people aren't their voters. I think I'll send it. I can caption the pic "look at all these Obamaphones". Lolz.

(6,169 posts)They look like what I consider to be a nice mix of "normal" Americans. I also noticed that their faces look open, calm and happy, not closed, angry and agitated, like most groups of tea nuts. You're right about the GOP, they are closing in upon themselves. Still, they seem to have a lot of power, considering. Guess that's because they have the moneyed interests behind them.

(426 posts)The wing nuts on the right get so much press I sometimes worry that sanity in America has become a minority. Yesterday's 'Spring' incident and more people showing up for Obama's lunch makes my world seem a little less tilted.

(50,560 posts)One hundred fifty teabaggers and their 29,999,850 imaginary friends go all the way to Washington to overthrow the government, and the government sneaks out through the secret tunnel in the back and cowers six blocks away with delicious burgers in their hands? I hope the government at least had the dignity to get mushrooms on those beefy shields!
