The terrible tragedy in Serbia, Croatia and Bosnia

I have a friend who lives in Serbia, a DJ colleague named Vlada. Recently his country and others in the region have experienced devastating floods and loss of life:

Although, I'll leave it up to you whether or not you'd choose to donate to organizations like the Red Cross, who are helping the men, women and children of Serbia, Bosnia and Croatia survive this terrible tragedy, I do however ask you to use social media to signal boost their plight.

If you belong to Twitter, Facebook and others please spread the word.

Thank you.

Such a horrible situation. I read that Northern Bosnia, iirc, looks like a huge lake. Tragic. nt Mnemosyne May 2014 #3

best friend and mentor about this today, she says it's really bad and that several of her family members have lost their homes where they have lived for generations. I have other acquaintances from there as well and they are freaking out, they came to work in US for the summer and can't contact their relatives back home.

Thanks for posting this, people on this continent need to know that people elsewhere are having these problems.

Big ones, too - closing roads, shattering towns and villages, denuding mountainsides.

This is a really big deal, and US coverage is next to nothing.
