(10,942 posts)More black and brown faces than seen at a Romney, Santorum, Paul or Gingrich rally combined. Relish the photos, they are of a true President at work.

(53,410 posts)Photo #5 has one in the upper left corner. Photo #6 looks like two black hands waving in the foreground. Photo #7 has a black man center left holding up a camera. Is that proof enough for you or is that just not enough black faces to disprove your bias?

We welcome everyone and LOVE the President - as you can see in the photos!

The crowds are always enormous, everyone is always smiling and President Obama is gregarious and unhesitating about being immersed in the crowd.

(20,219 posts)I'm just smiling away here.....the positive vibes are just so strong from him.....
I imagine meeting him and saying, "Mr. President, I want to give you the biggest fattest HUG you ever had!". And then giving him the biggest fattest HUG he's ever had! And I can imagine him cracking up with that big smile.
OK, a silly fantasy, I know. But it makes me smile!

Remember the 'crowd' Myth Romney drew at the football stadium? They didn't even use 1/10th of the field and none of the
seats in the stands

(3,576 posts)All of that crowd are in hiding for good reason. If they were to travel to Europe they would be arrested and put on trial. We must give President Obama a second term and pack the House and Senate with Democrats for the good of the nation.

Alex Cornell du Houx. Alex is a young progressive state legislator from Brunswick, and a United States Marine.
Alex has a very bright future standing up for people, not corporations. You will want to get to know Alex- the future of our party.

Genuine and relaxed in their patriotism.
And both of them have ears that stick out just right!

(10,893 posts)Look at these crowds...man, this is almost unreal. I haven't seen any crowds of this magnitude from Rmoney, Grinch, Satantorum, or Paul. So much for Obama losing his base...

The event at UVM was astounding. At one point, it seemed like the roar of the crowd as Obama spoke was rolling back and forth from one side of the vast room to the other, like an audio version of the wave you see at a baseball stadium.
And then it was over.
I piled back into the pool van with my fellow reporters for the ride back to the airport. Was this just another day like all the others for them? I wondered aloud.
No, they all agreed. This wasnt just a fundraising event theyd witnessed, they said. It was more like a political rally from when he was just a candidate for president, before hed won and the protective cocoon took form around him. He seemed truly energized by the Vermont crowd, they thought . . .
