skydive forever

In europe we do not execute people anymore - most country's doesn't even have life behind bars without parole - as the whole idea of prison is to REHABILITATE the convict - rather than to just keep them locked away for the rest of their natural life.... In some way I think we might as well are more civilized than in the US, where you keep a record number of prisoners behind bars - for crimes that should end them up in prison for shorter time if it was some justice in the world....

But then, I'm just a liberal yuppie from Europe - who do not know to many things - I have been told sometimes....

If Cheney and Co was to ever be arrested - and put on trial for the Iraq War blusters they would be getting a comfortable cell - ample time with their lawyers - and also ample time to make their defense - and then if convicted of any crime - put in a prison where they would be kept as long as the punishment meant them do be - and then released if their time was up - and sent back to the US, as I doubt we would have them here after they case was finished..

Tue May 20, 2014, 08:02 PM
May 2014

larry king interview:

When King asks if he knows the identity of the person whose heart keeps him alive, Cheney, who is promoting a book about his transplant experience, says no, and adds, “it hadn’t been a priority for me.” Then he goes on:

'When I came out from under the anesthetic after the transplant, I was euphoric. I’d had–I’d been given the gift of additional lives, additional years of life. For the family of the donor, they’d just been [through] some terrible tragedy, they’d lost a family member. Can’t tell why, obviously, when you don’t know the details, but the way I think of it from a psychological standpoint is that it’s my new heart, not someone else’s old heart. And I always thank the donor, generically thank donors for the gift that I’ve been given, but I don’t spend time wondering who had it, what they’d done, what kind of person.'

They should have transplanted a soul in to him as well.

It is quite obvious he does not have one.

The Obama administration should have went after the Bush administration with a vengeance !!!!

Too late now.

Obama slate isn't clean any more either.

What a fucked up government the U.S. has.

It is truly sickening !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

P.S. An orange jumpsuit, shackles, and handcuffs should be the only accessories Cheney should be allowed until the day he dies !!!!!!

Was totally useless before and after the attack on 9/11 (I think this was intentional and strategically planned.)
War profiteer
War criminal
Committing crimes against humanity
Caused the deaths of U.S. servicemen and women
Caused the deaths of our allies servicemen and women
Caused the deaths of innocent civilians in Iraq and Afghanistan
Caused the destruction of the infrastructure of Iraq and Afghanistan
Bankrupted the U.S.

P.S. When this bastard dies U.S. politicians Democratic and Republican will heap praise on him.

This insanity, this GARBAGE, this deliberate partisan political PSYCHOSIS has to stop.
http://www.democraticunderground.com/?com=view_post&forum=1014&pid=146626

How broken and incoherent have our politics gotten, when the very same corporate/authoritarian policies persist and grow from administration to administration, but the partisan electorate on each side works itself to the point of disconnection from reality trying to claim it is just the *other* side doing it?

So now we have Republicans twisting themselves into contortions to pretend that they are scandalized by pre-emptive war, indefinite detention, and the police state....completely denying history and reality in their astounding claims that Obama is the sole and only source of the corporate fascism we see being carefully constructed around us....and utterly ignoring the fact that they were cheering on the exact same policies four years ago.

....While on this side we have corporate Democrats pushing equal amounts of self-delusion.....feeding us the ludicrous fantasy that all of these outrages are somehow not being actively continued under Obama, or that they are not as bad under Obama, or that he is helpless to stop them and has not enabled them in any way......and we are asked as Democrats to minimize them and overlook them and completely wipe out of our consciousnesses that we opposed and screamed bloody murder about them under Bush.

What the hell is happening to us? How can we allow ourselves to be manipulated in this way?

Good god, people. We are in serious, serious trouble in this country. The corporatists have purchased our government, and they are systematically creating something that none of us want. And we enable it by participating in this garbage, this fantasyland that allows it all to continue.

We will *never* have a unified opposition to this metastasizing corporate empire and police state until we can stand up, acknowledge, and condemn the wrongs that are being done by both corporate Republicans and corporate Democrats.
