I think they tried Spitzer out a couple of nights ago (I saw it and he was very good) and just said Sayonara.

Olbermann has been pissy about it on Twitter, so I doubt he's got anything else lined up yet. Personally, I'd like to see him take the money and run and start writing.

studio. As for the absences, at one point he was very I'll due to bronchitis... I like the guy and haven't seen him since he left MSNBC (my provider doesn't carry Current) and so will continue to miss him. I found his monologues cathartic at a time that I needed them.
