People strive to figuratively kick and punch their way to the top and are admired and emulated for it.

It's been a very long time since we fought a war for any other reason. I'd say WWII was probably the last time. And if we'd had any time without fighting some war or conflict somewhere since I can't think of when that was.

attitude of intolerance can have an effect on what happens. In addition, if the people in charge of schools or other areas just take it lightly or ignore it, they exacerbate the problem.

However, bullying is nothing new. They have always been around and always will be. I am not sure if we are seeing a rise in bullying or a rise in the reporting about it. I would like to know if there are any figures available out of curiosity.

I do believe that no matter what the number, bullying is greatly underreported. There could be several factors. People don't report it. If they report it, the people who they report it to don't bother to act or keep records.

It is a more complex issue than it my seem. The first step is for it to be forcefully punished and stopped at every point. That will serve notice to the bullies that they won't get a free pass and to the victims that there is help available. The causes then have to be addressed.

as someone who was bullied for a very long time, my theory has always been that bullying is a manifestation of a very very small penis.
