Over 90% of Ward I is seeing this in the Omaha World Herald this morning over coffee (OS 4 Council)

Last edited Sun Apr 1, 2012, 01:31 AM - Edit history (1)

Every subscriber in over 90% of my ward to the Omaha World Herald is seeing this while reading, having coffee, and or having breakfast this morning. Non subscribers will get them in the mail. The yellow paper sticks out like a sore thumb for attention!

This weeks Voter Info responses for all four candidates in my ward: http://www.voterinformation.org/vg-home.html?main=race_info.html&side=race_list.html

Upper left hand corner choose Sarpy County. Hit go. Then click: Bellevue City Council 1

I also apologize to the DU for taking my eye off the ball two weekends ago. You know who got under my skin. It won't happen again.

I now have a co-worker that is a Cave Dweller. He joined them a week ago. Good morning Briggy. (He's reading this at work)

flyers without rereading. Maybe it's easier for the natives. But I'd think optimally anyone should be able to give the flyer a quick reading and immediately grasp the main points.

Awkward constructions.

12. Bellevue had the first trading post in the Nebraska Territory

I live a few blocks from where that trading post stood.

The Bellevue East mascot is a chieftain. They wouldn't give a license to use their trademark even with a payment because I'm a political issue. So I bought a license on the one at the bottom of the flyer.

I'm well known for being a vocal fan at BE basketball and football games.

Because the Air Force base sits against our border, we have an Arrows to Aerospace parade every summer in Historic Olde Towne. Right down Mission Ave., named after the first mission in the area. My ward.

It's got a great response from everybody that has commented on it.

Unless he is self-employed.

"...Good morning Briggy. (He's reading this at work)..."

On edit, changed "should" to "shouldn't" in the subject line for clarity. If 'Briggy' is not self-employed, and is reading on employer time, is he not stealing from his employer? And if he works for the local government, is that not stealing from the taxpayers? Do you condone this behavior?

The CC was making fun of me not to long ago for a post I made a couple years ago about me cutting back on PC use to just breaks and lunches while at work.

I don't see the CC chastising Briggy for his continued use that I gave up a couple years ago. So apparently the conservatives at CC condone it from Briggy, just not from me.

from your posts it really sounds as if you are enjoying this campaign. and i know you want to win, and i know your would be constituents will be better off if you do win, but getting there is half the battle at least. it's a good thing.
