Illinois Democrat introduces bill to speed up start of fracking

A southern Illinois legislator introduced legislation Friday in Springfield in an attempt to get horizontal hydraulic fracturing or “fracking” started more quickly in Illinois.

The legislation proposes to skip a rulemaking process that has taken nearly a year and has slowed the development of oil and gas drilling in the state. The legislation would also impose a moratorium on fracking in Northern Illinois.

... But industry advocates were slow to support the measure, by Rep. John Bradley (D-Marion), concerned that a moratorium -- even in a part of the state that isn’t likely to be drilled anyway -- would set a dangerous precedent.

a trend of late where "others" are registering as Democrats to get elected and then act like anything but. There are several imposters trying to, but so far have been unsuccessful, get elected as Democrats who have no intention of voting in that party once in office... saboteurs if you will.
