Fox News mugged by their OWN military analyst on Shinseki/VA
According to Freakout Nation, citing Mediaite:
Friday night, Former Lt. Col. Ralph Peters, a Fox News military analyst, offered a surprising defense of President Obama and VA Secretary Eric Shinseki over the VA scandal. Peters defended Shinseki as the medias whipping boy over a long-troubled VA.
He said,
Where was the outrage during the Bush years? Im not a defender of President Obama by any means, but this is a long-standing problem.
Mediate reports:
He told Megyn Kelly that blaming Shinseki and booting him out would be like a patient blaming the doctor for their cancer; hes just one administrator overseeing the problem, and even if he is at fault, hes hardly the first VA Secretary who hasnt done a bang-up job at the position.
I guess we've seen the very last Ralph Peters appearance on Fox Non-News.
This isn't the first time a Fox guest turned the tables on the network's right wing talking points. Remember
Thomas Ricks and Benghazi?
