of the things unknown but longed for still

to leave an abusive situation. I photo-shopped it into a desktop background and saw it daily ... Maya Angelou gave strength to millions of people, I hope she knew that.

The world will miss this beautiful voice.

I could find about her and her writing and works ... such an amazingly empathetic, brilliant woman.

to my fridge for years and it is becoming yellowed with age. It is so nice to read it on occasion just for the beauty of her words. I have cleared the door many times but that original one stays and always shall. She will be missed by many.
