there were some rumors floating around that he had deserted, because it wasn't clear how the Taliban guys were able to get him away from his post. One of the more odious FAUX talking heads brought this up. Of course, it's never been proved, and if there's some evidence of that of course Bergdahl is entitled to a trial under the UCMJ. Even in a court-martial trial there's a presumption of innocence. And if you ask me, even if it's true he's more than paid for it.
