Everything he does has to be done AROUND the republican party ... even if it is something centrist and market-based (as I understand the approach to CO2 limits are going to be).

Everything he does has to be done with the CERTAINTY that there will be criticism leveled at it ... if for no legitimate basis, then for purely made-up shit that 20% or so of the population will believe because they're glued to Faux and Rush.

We were speaking about a mutual acquaintance and he was grousing about how this person "is a big Obama fan". Not from what this person says or has said, but just because he is to the left of him on some issues. Now this RW-er also has a habit of lazy pigeon-holing; He never thinks shit through. Time and time again you'll hear him blame every damned thing that is wrong, every setback affecting daily life, on the president. If life aint perfect; and Obama is in office during this time....well then, you know the drill.
