I believe he is used to start the talking points, then when challenged, he disappears. Just put it out there, as Bush said, 'catapult the propaganda' and some of it will stick.

I remember seeing some of this Rogers' emails, they were shared by an uncle who votes Republican. I couldn't believe the level of horse manure this guy was spreading. He's a total weasel. I think he keeps getting re-elected because of his cool space captain name.
