This aids those in command structure in making decisions regarding foreign policy and national security.

So yes, I defend NSA spying. It's their job.

I would also point out that every nation has spied on every other nation so long as there have been nations.

So, to suggest the NSA spying is not good for America is completely naive, misinformed, and potentially downright idiotic.
