"SNIP......................
The news that former senator and apparently perpetual candidate Scott Brown got $1.3 million in stock to "advise" a peculiar company named Global Digital Solutions is very, very funny.
It was founded as a beauty supply company in New Jersey selling hair spray, conditioners, and shampoos, before reinventing itself as a wireless data firm from California and then again last year as a South Florida-based firearms maker and gun technology innovator. [...]
Accountants said in interviews that Global Digitals filings raise a number of warning signs for investors, including its varying business model and lack of actual products. [...]
A reporter who went to the address Friday found the company was not listed on any building directory. A receptionist in the suite listed as the companys address told a reporter: Theyre not here. Its by appointment only.
......................SNIP"
Scott Brown has since resigned.

Phil Knight's project for the UO business school was a company that produced nothing, only marketed stuff. You might have heard of it - Nike?

but he's toast in NH. Between Jean Shaheen on the left and old moss-back Bob Smith on the 'traditional' right, I don't see Brown gaining any traction. I hope Americans for Prosperity spend lots of money on a loser.
