District Attorney Now Investigating Hinds County Courthouse Incident

http://www.wjtv.com/story/25716817/district-attorney-now-investigating-hinds-county-courthouse-incident

The Hinds County District Attorney is now investigating how three Chris McDaniel supporters got locked into the courthouse basement after hours on election night.

The Hinds County Sheriff's Department investigated the Wednesday morning incident and found no evidence that any laws were broken. Authorities concluded that the woman and two men went into the building through a door that was propped open or malfunctioning at the time.

Supervisor Robert Graham says the results of that investigation are insufficient.

Graham tells us he sent a letter to District Attorney Robert Smith Friday requesting a special investigation after Graham says he got calls from citizens demanding answers. He also says supervisors want to know if there are security concerns that need to be addressed.
