There was no way in hell he was going to let a week like this go by without appearing on one of these bullshit tests.

When I saw that his favorite venue had been preempted by the French Open (why aren't we calling that the Freedom Open) I was alarmed but I persisted and finally near the bottom of the list, on State of the Union on CNN, I saw the magic words:

• Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.)

And I knew that all was right with the world.
