Mr. Sulu and Caroline Kennedy at her Tokyo residence...

George Takei was honored to be a guest of honor at a reception hosted by U.S. Ambassador to Japan Caroline Kennedy at her Tokyo residence. She even autographed a miniature Starship Enterprise for Brad and me.

LGBT equality is making great strides in Japan. Look closely and you'll see (on the left) First Lady Akie Abe, the wife of Japanese Prime Minister Abe--she's wearing a rainbow pin LGBT pride.

at the Seattle International Film Festival. It is a documentary by George Takei. If you are a fan, DON'T MISS THIS FILM. It it informative, sweet, charming and positive. His husband is delightful and totally dedicated to George and his interests. I had not known that as a child George was in an American interment camp in California during WWII. It's an interesting story.
