Contact your senator now to stop "In God We Trust" in schools.(Pennsylvania)

Legislation is moving through Pennsylvania that would allow and encourage the display of the phrase "In God We Trust" in every public school building. This is a blatant attempt to favor religion with a public statement of faith in every school, and to expose a captive audience of school children to religious ideology.

State legislators are elected to represent all citizens, including those of us who do not believe in a monotheistic god or any gods.

this crap is always pushed by cowardly politicians who enjoy pandering to religions that want to force others to bow to their theology.

that's the con side. on the plus side, uh, i guess god will let the kids in school flounder unless he gets his welcome sign. or something. because god is into punishing kids because of the political views of the principal or the state legislature. or something.

Not only in every school building, but in every classroom. I don't know if it's a statewide requirement or not.
