A former democratic candidate (over a decade ago) did call for such a move, but that wouldn't have been too large (he's out of state and doesn't have a huge following so many years later).

Also... Brat called on supporters to bring I & D friends to the polls. So that could account for a few more.

But when it comes right down to it, Cantor received far fewer votes than in his last primary - so it's pretty clear that core voters in his district were upset with him.

But even if Brat wins, he'll be easier to beat in 2016 than Eric "Rising Star" Cantor.

A Democrat hasn't held that seat since 1971. It's George "Macaca" Allen territory. That better be one helluva Dem...

I mean, since we play this ridiculous game, it's time to find the skeletons (there has to be with this guy's private schooling and right wing cultivation) and rip up the mother through the biggest game in town… the media empire game!

“God acted through people on my behalf,” Mr. Brat told Fox News during an interview Tuesday night. “It’s an unbelievable miracle.”

He's playing the religion card in a year when the religious right is becoming a laughingstock.

A curious fact is that his Democractic opponent, Jack Trammell, is also a professor at Randolph-Macon College where Brat teaches.

His other published works include the titles “God and Advanced Mammon – Can Theological Types Handle Usury and Capitalism?” and “An Analysis of the Moral Foundations in Ayn Rand.”

Yeah, God acted through people on my behalf. Moral Foundations in Ayn Rand… I'd probe a deep analysis and translate this as to EXACTLY what religious fanaticism he and his tea party are promoting. That should be easy enough to do.

The problem, though, is I wonder how long it takes to realize the danger of these people? Isn't it time we confront the religiosity and Taliban nature of the Tea Party as they join hands with gun toters eating hamburgers at Sonic?
