have enough fingers. Also, they're useful in cross-country navigation - I just point them at the place I want to go, and then follow them. Isn't that what everyone uses them for?

Some animals have evolved to the point where the males do not have nipples. Stallions and male mice are examples.

The answer is that as embryos men and women have similar tissues and body parts. If anything the embryo follows a "female template" ,that is why nipples are present in both sexes.....
