David Brat’s Campaign Manager Scrubs His Facebook Page: Here’s What He’s Hiding (Images)

What do you do when the guy whose campaign you manage pulls off an upset? Apparently, you delete a lot of information from your Facebook page. Information that could hurt your guy. That’s what Zachary Werrell, campaign manager for David Brat, did. But not before screen caps and caches were saved by liberal writers. Gotta love technology.

So, what’s so horrible that it had to be sent to cyber-limbo? Only some rants about abortion, bringing back the silver standard and abolishing the FDA, among other things. Werrell, who fashions himself a “socially conservative libertarian,” had a lot of things to say on his social pages. Things that could come back to haunt him… or his candidate.

For example, Werrell believes that the Declaration of Independence is “enforceable and binding” because it appears before the Constitution in the US Code:

"In any case, it seems that Zachary Werrell (Brat's 23 year old campaign manager) was caught off-guard by Brat’s victory. Else why would he scramble to delete inflammatory — and some might say downright weird — posts from his Facebook page? We know that David Brat is a Christian Reconstructionist who credits God with his victory. And he looks forward to dismantling parts of the government that he dislikes. But, most of all, Brat wants to be a national figure. Werrell must have realized that some of his posts might bring the wrong kind of attention should the campaign find itself in the national eye. Too bad for him that we know how to use the Internet."

Merely record the dumbass stuff they say to get themselves elected in the primary, where no one pays attention, or even votes, except the political hardcore.
Then merely rebroadcast their own words during the general election, the best one in Nevadas' 2010 election was Angle saying she'd privatize the VA. This is in a state where there are a large number of veterans, many disabled with some serious conditions and totally dependent on the VA for care.
...and everybody knows that "privatize" is Republican-speak for "get rid off"

But one's campaign has to follow the progress of the Tea nutjobs' campaign and record every word, just like Mitts famous 47% misspeak which cost him the election.
