Flag Day 2014 pix from my driveway count them 9 homes (fund raiser)

Each home paid $35 each. Thirteen holidays from Memorial Day to Veteran's Day in November the flags are put up before first light. This is the third year and everyone is very happy. One scout located the pole holders. He bought the flags. Gets every participating home done early. And this pays for Johny's summer camp.

The right side of my block to the North. There is a third flag in front of the van. It is not part of the program. Just to the right of the no outlet sign you see another flag. 1 & 2

The left side looking to the North. Flags 3 & 4.

To the West from the T intersection. Flags 5 & 6

To the South. There are 3. The closest is mine. The farthest away is just to the right of the car in the center. It is barely visible in front of the left side of the swing set in the park. Flags 7,8, & 9.

When the program started, the flags were placed between the sidewalk and curb. Somebody complained they were in the city right of way. (Same right of way our mailboxes sit in, but that is different.) Anyway the flags were relocated to be between the house and curb. I preferred them in the original placement.

It is only after the daylight savings time change when they go up and it is truly near the first light of day.
