Probably never will learn anything in Iraq, or Ukraine, or even stateside. As a society, we are dunces. As an Empire, we are the funniest thing since slapstick.

I despair for the nation.

....the LTTE section of local papers.

" The war, wrong or right, was effectively won. Under Obama, the war has restarted."

"Barry, the incompetent fascist troll turned over the negotiation of a status of forces agreement to possibly the only person in government even stupider than Barry is; to wit, the laughing hyena named Joe. End of agreement."

" I would send the military back in and seize all of Iraq. I would institute military rule, and give administration of the country to an American general. I would reconstruct Iraqi political, military, law, and administrative institutions in a manner consistent with American interests and in the interests of regional and global security. Again, I would rely on my conviction that America is a force for good in the world. I would not be timid or apologetic. Once Iraq was a high function pro-West democracy with stable enduring institutions and free of coercion from Iran, I would return its independence to the Iraqi people. I am speaking of a commitment of 10-50 years."

Not to mention, seizing it wasn't the goal, making obscene amounts of money WAS the goal, and that 'mission was accomplished'.

I would start prosecutions, but then I would have done that six years ago.

of Congress, well before Obama took office.

Instead, the struggle between the Republicans and Democrats is less like two different parties and more like two different guys competing to please the same boss--who aint us.

Newspapers Around US Get Identical Missives from Iraq

by Ledyard King, Gannett News Service

WASHINGTON -- Letters from hometown soldiers describing their successes rebuilding Iraq have been appearing in newspapers across the country as U.S. public opinion on the mission sours.

And all the letters are the same.

A Gannett News Service search found identical letters from different soldiers with the 2nd Battalion of the 503rd Airborne Infantry Regiment, also known as "The Rock," in 11 newspapers, including Snohomish, Wash.

The Olympian received two identical letters signed by different hometown soldiers: Spc. Joshua Ackler and Spc. Alex Marois, who is now a sergeant. The paper declined to run either because of a policy not to publish form letters.

repeated in several squares to show him 'among the troops'. Lol, you would think since they pay so much for this they could top quality propaganda. But then again it worked, so why worry?
