There also seems to be a compulsion to label others as prudes.

IMO, there was never a Golden Age on DU.

One's ability to filter out this/that deteriorates as time goes by. We want to come here and see only posts that validate our own opinions.

the plame threads. the dan rather threads. those were the days. even the primary wars were more grounded than the unmoored crazy that floats around here.

maybe i should start just hangin in the lounge hoping for another mixed animal to wander it.

eat the rich was always there. but it has gotten nastier.
not just about members. seems like there are no good people above 6 figures to hear some talk.

I'm on the edge of leaving. I don't post much anymore. I get sick of the infighting and the viciousness here. I've been here 10 years and I believe it is the worst it's ever been.

troll infested juries. you can call people pedophiles, apparently, and if the jury doesnt agree with you, its all good.
