We have open and concealed carry here. I was in a local Fred Meyer several months ago, and some dude was packing a Ruger Super Blackhawk, .44 magnum. Now, don't get me wrong, I own 3 guns (shotgun, rifle and pistol) and am licensed. But this was WAY over the top. I asked him just how threatening the avocados were today................ we were in produce.
He had a little girl in his basket who could not have been more than 3.
Assholes. Mine aren't for protection, but for hunting and running off bears while camping/hiking. The hunting guns will wind up for sale soon, as we're getting a bit old to clean and pack out the meat.
But c'mon - a .44 mag in Fred Meyer? On a Saturday?
