CDC and the Anthrax exposure...
I don't know if many of you had heard about this, but...
CDC scientists may have accidentally been exposed to anthrax
http://america.aljazeera.com/articles/2014/6/19/cdc-anthrax-scare.html
(this just happens to be an Al Jazeera link, but it's been widely reported all over the net)
Anyway, the CDC is still trying to determine whether this was an accident or intentional.
Never the less, I was thinking of the Anthrax attacks soon after 9/11 and that the perpetrators of that were never found. If I recall the suspect, Dr. Hatfield, was cleared of all charges.
Now, what I'm wondering is this: one thing was very apparent in regards to that actual sample of Anthrax that was isolated from the attack on the National Enquirer, it was a weaponized version of the bacteria. Meaning a sophisticated lab had to have manufactured the original sample that was sent.
Soooooo, I wonder if anyone one out there, who doesn't fly in small or even large planes, is thinking: I wonder if I took a sample of this stuff that was set loose in the CDC and tried matching it's genetic components to the sample from the one that was employed back in 2001.
just sayin...
