Until the countries like Iraq, Afghanistan, etc. learn to separate their

religion from their government, they never will understand or build a working democracy. To them their religion and government are one with no divisions.

They will never learn how to include the "other" in their governments and societies.

Both of those countries are actually multiple countries grouped haphazardly by a silly Brit using an etch-a-sketch.
