I became a granddaddy for the first time two days ago!

Here is hoping that my grandson gets to someday live in a world marked by peace and justice for all! It is going to take a lot of hard work to get there, but that won't keep me from trying to make it happen.

I love you, my grandson! Here's to you!

I'm sure you'll find as I did that there is nothing and I mean nothing, that compares to grand kids. Your Grand Son has a leg up by having a good solid Papa, grandpa or whatever he decides to call his grand father.
Peace
It kinda sucks that we let all this shit happen on our watch, huh.
What I mean is us ole hippies were going to change the world and did for a time but somewhere we got complacent and lost our way or it sure seems that way to me as I look back on things

I started off being Papa but somewhere along the way its been shortened to simply Pa. I don't mind as long she remembers who I am

It kills me that my youngest is a Georgia Bulldog. Gonna have to go through her to make sure my grandson is a VFL!

This is a great time in your life. You will rediscover what life was like when you were 1, 2, 3 4 5 years old!
Worms are so COOL Grandpa! The first snowman, first swimming lesson, sleeping outside in the back yard...fishing...everything in the world is so beautiful through the eyes of a child.

I know it's kind of a PITA to post pics here 'cause you have to put them on some other site then link. But we'd love to see them when you get a chance.

grandkids. boy are you in for a world of fun. remember, the more you do and say with them the more they love you when you're gone. My dad was such a great granddaddy that my nephew can hardly speak about him now around the love he has for him. have a world of fun.

Becoming a grandparent for the first time changed my life (for the better) even more than becoming a parent for the first time.

It's a clean slate. The child knows nothing about you, other than how kind and loving you are to him or her. It's like a personal rebirth, a re-definition of who and what you are.
