if that was all I had heard about what happened, I would say on the face of it, Zimmerman appears to be either lying or extremely stupid. If Trayvon had been hiding waiting for him the smart thing to do would have been to call the police on his cell phone which we know he had because he said he reached for it and call 911 this time saying against the dispatchers advice he kept following the kid, now he was afraid the kid was going to attack him in his vehicle. But, that is likely not true, but if true really stupid. But, then according to him he gets out of the vehicle, because he says he was afraid of what this kid was going to do? Yeah he's an idiot all right.

Two things about this are driving many of us nuts:

1: The State Attorney is sitting on all the probative evidence and will not release any more at this time. This means the media and even DU posters are making stuff up to fill the void

2: Zimmerman is not in jail

confidential until charges are brought and the defense is entitled to discovery.

We are entitled to try to figure the facts out until then.

But the evidence presented at trial, assuming there probably will be one, will not be what we expect. Of that we can be fairly sure. Remember, rules of evidence exclude certain things.

The autopsy report at minimum should have been released.

The PD should have released photos as well as two versions of the CCTV segments.

george zimmerman was on the phone with dispatch when he got out of the car to follow trayvon on foot. you could hear the beep of the car door, and he said...."now he is running", plus trayvon was on the phone with his girlfriend at the exact same time. also, this is my first time here, i found this site trying to find more information on the case.....and i realized people here were digging up more information than the media. i have a few points, and i wish i were better at finding info online, but i am not. george's father is a retired supreme court magistrate from virginia (suspiciously close to langley), and "retired military". george's grandfather was in the cia, and ended up being consulate general in barcelona, i think. george's "godfather in florida had a million dollar business". how deep do the connections go? is there a way we can find out who the "godfather" is, who appointed grandfather as consulate, was the magistrate position elected or appointed? even if zimmerman had local clout in sanford....they would have given him up by now unless he had fairly high connections....plus both the police chief and wolfinger step down rather than make an arrest?....and who is behind joe oliver quitting his job to become a media face full time?....this is more than just some redneck cronies backing a retired judge who has only lived there 10 yrs.
