selfishness. Anyone who joins the hate group that is the Republican party joins it because they are totally ignorant, or are haters, or both, and birds of a feather flock together

Their attitude towards those not fortunate enough to be able adequately provide for themselves is "Let Them Die".

But then, after they spend all their time gutting important social programs and campaigning against equal rights, and some misfortune happens to them and places them in a position where they cannot adequately provide for themselves, they seek government assistance, and scream bloody murder about why it is so difficult to get the government assistance they desperately need.

Unfortunately, their is no cure at this time for teh stupid that afflicts conservatives.

The post-WWII glory years of the Great American Middle Class and liberal government were an anomaly.
