Another Obama quote from yesterday that is worth carving in stone

?"We believe that in order to preserve our own freedoms and pursue our own happiness, we can’t just think about ourselves. We have to think about the country that made those liberties possible. We have to think about our fellow citizens with whom we share a community. We have to think about what’s required to preserve the American Dream for future generations."

he should start making a LOT of changes. It's a nice soundbite, but that's about it.

Flame away.

to do that, we need to support our Senate and Congressional candidates in order to get them elected, so that he has the support in Congress to pass the laws that we need to accomplish his goals.

Hillary Clinton said 'It takes a village." She's right and President Obama cannot do this alone.

I hope you are committed to helping him.

I have no illusions, Obama will maintain the status quo and the idiots on the other side will do much damage if one of them gets elected. There is no other option than him being elected again.

As long as the GOP is the party of the batshit crazy, we can never have discussions in this country because we're "arguing with ourselves". We need a GOP that returns to sanity so the Rockfeller Republicans can leave the democratic party and we can have an open discussion, and elections, again about the serious issues facing this country.

he Has made a lot of changes (if you want The List you know where it is) and those changes didn't come easy with the Opposition being what it is, and not only the Repuglicans. You know, the ones that hate him so much they'd rather the US go bankrupt and feed off it's bones than to go along with anything the President suggests. The one who is called a liar by a Supreme and others - out loud and in public. 'That One' as McCain said.

This really perplexes me - how some want this Change to be faster, better, and Lots! but don't take into account what Turtler and Orangeman and the rest of the gang are like. If you want change, start with yourself and pitch in to help instead of pitching in to yelp.

And no I don't yelp. I am not a dog. The last sentence of your post shows me you don't have a clue. It's just nasty and so typical of you.

Obama has made a LOT of changes.

and sorry about the yelp, I did not mean to say that to you personally. It was a poorly written phrase trying to mean the general mode of the people on the 'left' that are always unhappy with the President.
