So, it's OK for the govt to force people to buy insurance, even if it's against their religion (say

they are Christian Scientists or some such), but they can not force a corporation to do the same????

Does this ruling mean that an individual can claim a religious exemption to Obamacare?

A religious exemption was specifically written into the law, so this wont change that. It applies more to the ammish and groups like that.

4. It wouldn't, the government would. What you would be forced to do is pay taxes not

forced to use post tax dollars to by a commercial product making it more of a not in my name thing.

I didn't buy weapons to bomb Iraq, the government did and used my tax dollars to do it. I was not forced to spend post tax dollars at the munitions factory.

I don't get the source of power to dictate unconditional use of post tax dollars, further being forced to personally enter a contract with a private, for profit entity to spend post tax dollars.

Now you're saying that we can circumvent the entire purpose of taxes, which is to maintain two separate pots, mine and ours WHILE maintaining a capitalist driven society? If you don't see how that is dangerously insane then I find it hard to believe one has any imagination or intellect.

No one is that dense, the deal is there was a desire to do the right thing but a greater desire not to upset the gods of the official state secular religion and we are forced to just go full on absurd and feign being oblivious to the absurd structure required to thread the needle and then post assisted by the fascist, Roberts to *poof* away clear, on the record, relentlessly and stridently repeated legislative intent to make it a tax in the eyes of the law.

6. Still are and still will be. However, I didn't argue efficiency but dangerous legal structure.

The government may take the collected taxes and create schemes to distribute it to the cartel, stupidly, this is where we have a debate on efficiency. Instead we are arguing something more basic because of lack of political will to honestly levy fucking taxes as the government is empowered to do instead of this convoluted and highly dishonest mess.

words advocating a new tax, or tax increase. It seems that is changing. Took a long fucking time. In the near future there will be successful campaigns that advocate the better way, the way that you and I can agree on.

10. Fascism is not an alternative, temporary work around to taxes no matter how unpopular they are

at a given time and let's not pretend what was done was popular. Probably far greater blowback than an honest tax too and sets an evil precedent to be exploited by anti tax zealots and cynical corporatists in a game of sauce for the goose.
