Fundamentalist preacher and Christian rocker Bradlee Dean is trying to defend himself against the allegation that he endorsed execution for LGBT people, but hes also evading questions about it, says commentator Michelangelo Signorile.
He writes in The Huffington Post that Dean appeared on The Michelangelo Signorile Show Monday saying his comments about Muslims being more moral than Christians because some Muslims call for the execution of gays were taken out of context.
Speaking on my radio program on SiriusXM OutQ, Dean, at times quite heated, said that when he had made the statement that Muslims seem more moral, he only meant it as a wake up call for the [Christian] church, Signorile says. Dean has sued Rachel Maddow for defamation for using a clip of his remarks on her MSNBC show and, he claims, presenting them in a way that left the impression he approved of the death penalty for homosexuality.
Signorile adds, Asked five times, however, if he believed some Muslims are more moral than Christians because they support the execution of gays, Dean refused to answer yes or no, several times repeating the same line: I have continually reached out to the homosexual community.

(2,472 posts)at the time their grandmother died in 1993. The cousins' family is very vocally "pro life," but only *some* lives... At the dinner after the funeral, one of the cousins, who are now missionaries in other countries, began talking to his college friend that he brought with him, saying that when they were finished eating, they should go get their guns and "hunt down" some gay people. I was in shock for about two seconds and then demanded that they get their asses up and leave our table because my kids did not need to listen to their bigotry and hatred. They didn't say a word, they just got up and moved. My ex hasn't talked to his cousin since.

If he doesn't want his stuff on the semi-public airways repeated, he should confine his comments to talking to friends with a couple of tin cans connected by string.
And this rocker claiming that Christianity would be more moral for executing gays? Where did Christ say that in the Gospel? These people are so dumb they would lose in an IQ test to a rock.
Thanks for posting this hateful insanity that LGBTs have to respond to all the time instead of getting to move onto better things. You'd think these zealots never read Philippians 4:8 nor took it to heart:
Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honest, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
Really? Killing people? Killing people? WWJK?
