Oops, MSNBC reports (Daily Kos) fictional, satirical piece as real news



Apparently this and the fact it was published on Huffington Post's Comedy vertical escaped the eagle eyed journalists at MSNBC, who reported the story as news this morning.
Oops.

Lesson to MSNBC, don't believe everything you read on the internet.

This form of humor requires complex, subtle thought capable of understanding that irony was not what Alanis Morissette thought it was, which explains the widespread inability to appreciate satire.
