I always assumed this was incorrect and simply a mistake, yet I see it more and more these days. Is it regional? In some parts of the country would a sign saying "We Sell 'Fresh' Fish!" normal and not funny? Why aren't capital letters enough of an emphasis? "GO" HOME?

and ask, what in the world are citiens? Act concerned and puzzled.

Also, be very concerned about the y. In Spanish, y is the word and. Again, act very puzzled. Then ask about the sick eagles.

The real problem is two fold. The first is that schools don't teach grammar, punctuation, or spelling. The second is that idiots like her are oblivious to such things.

Sometimes I reconsider my opposition to the death penalty when I see such signs.
