Win a pre-paid cremation!

I guess the Neptune Society thinks that the Supreme Court will strike down Obamacare.

The card even gives the name of last month's winner in case I want to meet her. OK, I'd prefer if she had a job, but maybe I'll take the free cremation.

Body farm
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A body farm is a research facility where human decomposition can be studied in a variety of settings. The aim is to gain a better understanding of the decomposition process, permitting the development of techniques for extracting information (such as the timing and circumstances of death) from human remains. Body farm research is particularly important within forensic anthropology and related disciplines, and has applications in the fields of law enforcement and forensic science. Five such facilities exist in the United States, with the research facility operated by Texas State University at Freeman Ranch being the largest at seven acres.

and send the ashes to my kids a year later. I figure that since I couldn't go to medical school while I was living, at least I can go when I die.

Then, everyone close to me knows that my ashes are to be dumped in the Mississippi River from the Wabasha St. Bridge in St. Paul. Thereafter, my ashes will pollute the entire length of that river in time. A worthy end. I will sleep with the fishes.
