A Lexington Company Is Working on a Remote-Controlled Contraceptive Device

It gets implanted under the skin, and can be turned on or off in an instant.

The war on women’s contraceptives could soon have a new battle to contend with: on-demand birth control.

Lexington-based MicroCHIPS, a developer of implantable drug delivery devices, has been quietly working on a birth control product that can be embedded in a woman’s body, and release a contraceptive drug into her system with the flip of a switch.

I was always forgetting to take my pill when I was of child bearing age so I would have loved this.

the woman herself might have no control over when it's turned on or off. What an amazing way to control women this would be.

I'll take one of those LOL-

I want mine to have a audio warning everytime you enable it though-

Baby Making Function about to be Enabled- Do you really want to do this?
